Help the Cheetah -
Join a charity run!

CCF UK has been allocated several charity places in running events during 2008. We are looking to find volunteers willing and able to take up these places, raise sponsorship and run for the cheetahs.

BUPA Great North Run

When: Sunday 5th October
Where: Newcastle
How Far: 13.1 miles
Age: 17 years and above

The BUPA Great North Run is the biggest half marathon in the world and has a unique atmosphere, starting in Newcastle city centre and finishing in South Shields. World-record holders lead the field across the Tyne Bridge, followed by thousands of charity and fun runners and numerous celebrity runners.

BUPA Great South Run

When: Sunday 26th October
Where: Portsmouth
How Far: 10 miles
Age: 16 years and above

The BUPA Great South Run is Britain’s leading 10 mile running event. This run follows a fast, flat and scenic route in Southsea, Portsmouth, suitable for runners of all abilities and the ideal course to attempt to record a personal best. This is a circular course starting and finishing on the seafront at Southsea. Runners are allocated places in waves with fastest runners toward the front, in order to help runners who want to try and achieve their personal best.
